Ionic Air Purifiers
The ionic air purifiers tend to zap air borne
particles having negative ions, so that the particle weighs more. With this
extra weight, the particle drops to the floor so that it can be vacuumed away.
Sometimes, these particles return to the air, and so ionizers use metal plates
to attract these negative charged particles. However, these metal plates have to
be cleaned regularly for better effects of the air purifiers.
Today, you can also find some air purifiers that work on a combination of all
these air purifiers so that you are provided with the best protection from
indoor pollution. Whichever air purifier you choose for your home or office,
check on the MERV rating and CADR rating of the air purifier. The MERV rating
measures the efficiency of the air purifier and ranges from 1 to 16. The CADR
level measures the rate of delivered clean air into the atmosphere. The higher
are the levels the better will be the air purifier.
